The 74” working width along with the 7 cu.ft. hopper capacity will speed up work and reduce time spent refilling the machine. Befco's BM6-2HR Bushmaster chipper is equipped with a massive 7 1/2" wide and 23" deep drum capable of continuously chipping logs of up to 6 5/16" in diameter.
The unit features two hydraulically driven feed rollers that grab the log from the top and bottom and force it to the drum. The BM6-2HR is equipped with a forward-neutral-reverse lever that lets you engage or disengage the feed rollers and is also equipped with a feed stop safety that reverses the feed rollers if the operator is too close to the feed hopper.
